Included on every plan
The difference between the plans is how many accounts you connect and how often they are checked. The monitoring itself is not paywalled.
- Meta pixel & Conversions API monitoring. Pixel activity, Event Match Quality, and the purchase and lead events you actually optimize for.
- Google Ads conversion tracking. Flags conversion actions that stop recording, so half your roster is not left unwatched.
- Email and Slack alerts. Every alert names the account, what broke, and where to fix it. Slack works via an incoming webhook.
- No code to install. You connect each ad account through the platform's own secure login. Nothing goes on a client's site.
- Read-only access. Taglert never creates, edits, pauses, or manages ads, campaigns, budgets, or audiences.
- Cancel anytime. Cancel from the billing page and keep access through the end of your current billing period.
Whether it pays for itself
The useful way to judge a monitoring subscription is against the spend it protects, not against other subscriptions. Broken or inaccurate tracking wastes roughly 23% of ad budget, and it never throws an error, so the loss accumulates quietly between manual checks. Put your own numbers in:
And a pixel that's set up right delivers up to 18% better results on the same spend (Meta).
Connect your accounts and see what's actually broken. No credit card required.
If that figure is smaller than $49 a month, you genuinely do not need this yet, and disciplined manual checks in Events Manager will cover you. For most agency rosters it is not close.
How the pricing compares
Most tools in this space price per store, per brand, or by revenue tier, which means your cost rises exactly as you succeed at signing clients. That model suits a single brand and works against an agency.
| Tool | Typical cost | How you buy it |
|---|---|---|
| Taglert | $49-$99/month flat, 7-day free trial | Self-serve, no call required |
| Hyros | Typically a few hundred dollars a month | Sold via demo or call |
| Triple Whale | Tiered by features and revenue | Costs rise as you grow; priced per brand |
| Elevar | Per-store subscription | Costs stack for agencies running several stores |
| ObservePoint | Enterprise pricing | Enterprise onboarding |
| Trackingplan | Enterprise pricing | Enterprise onboarding |
Competitor pricing is indicative and published pricing changes. These tools also do different jobs: several are full attribution suites or enterprise tag-governance platforms, where Taglert only monitors ad-tracking health. Compare scope alongside price.
Pricing FAQ
How much does Taglert cost?
Solo is $49/month for up to 5 connected accounts, and Agency is $99/month for unlimited accounts. Both are about 41% cheaper on annual billing, at $349/year and $697/year. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?
No. The 7-day free trial requires no credit card. You connect your accounts, see the monitoring actually run, and only enter payment details if you decide to continue after the trial ends.
What counts as a connected account?
One ad account on one platform. A client whose Meta and Google Ads you both monitor uses two of your connected accounts. The Solo plan covers up to 5, and the Agency plan is unlimited, which is why most agencies past a handful of clients end up on Agency.
Which plan should I be on?
If you are a freelance media buyer running a few accounts, Solo at $49/month is the right size. If you are an agency, the account count is what decides it: five connected accounts is roughly two or three clients once you count both platforms, so agencies generally need Agency. There is no feature paywall on the monitoring itself.
Is the pricing per client account?
No, and this is the main difference from tools priced per store or per brand. Agency is a flat $99/month whether you monitor ten accounts or a hundred. Your cost does not climb as you sign clients, which is what makes it workable for an agency roster.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel from the billing page at any time and keep access through the end of your current billing period. There is no annual commitment on the monthly plans and no cancellation call.
Can I switch between monthly and annual, or between plans?
Yes. You can change plan or billing interval from the billing page. Annual billing saves roughly 41% against paying monthly, which works out to about $29/month on Solo and $58/month on Agency.
Is Taglert worth it if I only manage a couple of accounts?
That depends on your spend, not your account count. Broken or inaccurate tracking wastes roughly 23% of ad budget and never throws an error, so on $5,000/month of spend the waste dwarfs a $49 subscription. On very small spend, honest answer: disciplined manual checks in Events Manager will do the job. The calculator on this page will tell you which case you are in.
Does the price include Google Analytics 4 monitoring?
GA4 data-freshness monitoring is coming soon and will be included on both plans when it ships, at no extra cost. Meta and Google Ads monitoring are available today.
