Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Taglert (“Taglert,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our tracking-health monitoring service at taglert.app (the “Service”).
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and an encrypted password (managed by our authentication provider), plus any settings you configure (e.g. a Slack webhook URL, email preferences).
- Connected platform data. When you connect a Meta, Google Ads, or Google Analytics (GA4) account, we access read-only metrics needed to monitor tracking health — such as pixel status, event match quality, duplicate rates, conversion-action status, and event volume. We do not modify your ad accounts or campaigns.
- Authorization tokens. OAuth access and refresh tokens for the platforms you connect are stored server-side and used only to perform the monitoring you requested. They are never exposed to the browser.
- Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and plan status, but we never see or store your full card details.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide and operate the Service: to run automated health checks on your connected accounts, to send you alerts and digest/overview emails, to manage your subscription and trial, and to provide support.
Google API and platform data
Taglert’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only read-only scopes, use the data solely to display and monitor your tracking health, and do not sell it or use it for advertising. The same principles apply to data accessed via Meta’s APIs.
Service providers
We share data only with the service providers that operate Taglert:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Cloudflare — application hosting and delivery
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional and alert email delivery
- Meta and Google — the platforms you choose to connect
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention and deletion
You can disconnect any account at any time, which removes its stored tokens and health history. You may request deletion of your entire account and associated data by emailing support@taglert.app. We retain data only as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.
Security
Access and refresh tokens are stored server-side and never sent to the browser. Access to your data is scoped to your account through row-level security. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We also use analytics and measurement tools to understand how visitors find and use Taglert:
- Google Analytics (GA4) — aggregate traffic and acquisition reporting (which channels bring visitors to our site).
- Meta Pixel — measures the effectiveness of our advertising.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — privacy-focused, cookieless traffic measurement.
These tools are used only for our own marketing and product measurement, and we do not sell this data. You can control them through your browser settings, your Meta ad preferences, or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
